Program Overview

As part of our advocacy and client support, our Women’s Empowerment Initiative (WEI) at Global Alliance Solutions Foundation provides workshops, networking opportunities and specific programming dedicated to empowering women. 

Unfortunately, in many countries, women do not have the same rights or opportunities as men and therefore lack education, job skills and often self-esteem. 

The WEI program works to build our client’s self-confidence, self-worth and independence within the framework of their beliefs and introduces them to women’s roles in the United States as well as potential opportunities for community involvement, better parenting, and understanding of rights, and possibilities while balancing their goals with duties and responsibilities within their homes and individual family obligations. 

Our goal is to be respectful of each client’s choices and practices while supporting their needs.
